Listen, you can get all the non high ends (normal and super) for free and easily over time. Hear me out: if you ignore the high-ends there are still a lot of drivers, karts, and gliders. About as much as you’d expect from a console Mario Kart.

The character roster ignoring high-ends is still amazing, with every mainstay character that has ever existed. Plus the 4 bros and Monty mole (oh and a couple recolors to boot). Do you guys really need every high end thing? Like I said, without high ends that’s still a LOT of things. High ends are literally extra things. That’s why Nintendo has them behind a paywall

I understand the frustration for MKT fans with the new system, but for me, as someone that is super casual, i prefer paying gems for characters i want. im not a completionist and even less in mobile, so i take just paying gems for 1 or 2 characters i really want that to pray to gacha gods that 7/10 times fail me in the older builts.

You should’ve mentioned all the people in the replies of the Tour twitter begging for gacha to come back because without pipes the game wasn’t exciting

this was really good!! i really liked this perspective, both recognizing that removing gatcha is good and also that theres still a fundamental element of greed to this game. good video, cant wait to see what you cover next!!

Great video! This 3.0.0 update made me a little sceptical about the future of MKT.

I didn’t really like the overpriced ruby count for Spotlight items and the decrease of rubies for ranked cups, but as time went on, I have get used to the changes slowly!

The removal of the gacha system is for the better, as you mentioned those Special pipes where the newest driver wasn’t a spotlight, included with 15 other items was such the scummiest thing they did before the removal of gacha…

Removing the Gacha is pretty nice, though I’m still not super inclined to play Mario Kart Tour tbh. Other than that, very good video 🙂

It’s a general improvement but the new Ruby distribution is kinda… bad.
